Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Baker at Garrett's Granola in San Francisco, CA. The Baker will be responsible for preparing, baking, and packaging granola according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency in each batch. Tasks include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, properly handling ingredients, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines, and collaborating with team members to meet production schedules. Additional responsibilities may include experimenting with new recipes and assisting in kitchen inventory management.
Days/Hours would most likely be Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday...approximately 7-8 hours each day starting at 7:30am.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bakery and baking techniques
- Experience with food preparation, including handling ingredients with care
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes consistently
- Adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards in kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and communicate effectively
- Prior experience in artisanal or small-batch food production is a plus
