Overview
Garrett Park Music is seeking a passionate and dedicated Drum Instructor to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and experience working with students of various ages. Seeking candidates with availability on Wednesday and Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute comprehensive music lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Teach various aspects of music, including theory, performance, and appreciation.
- Engage students through interactive activities and encourage participation in musical performances.
- Assess student progress in determining readiness to join Rock Ensemble
- Rock Ensemble directors will work with student bands to prepare them for live performances
- Assist with Rock Ensemble performances and in-house recitals
Experience
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management
- Experience in teaching or performing various musical styles
- Ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus
- A background in working with children is preferred
- Ability to support students with diverse learning abilities
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
