Electrical Estimator – Multifamily / Multi-Unit Construction
📍 [Winder, Ga] | Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in multifamily and multi-unit residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical estimates, reviewing project plans and specs, coordinating vendor and subcontractor pricing, and supporting preconstruction efforts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates and takeoffs
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Assist with budgeting and value engineering
- Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and clients
- Maintain accurate estimating records and cost databases
Qualifications
- 3 years of electrical estimating experience
- Multifamily or multi-unit project experience preferred
- Ability to read electrical plans and specifications
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore estimating module, we are looking into Sage estimating software, and would value an opinion on what’s best and why. Or similar estimating/on-screen takeoff programs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of current NEC codes and ability to utilize codebook
