There is a full-time (FT) Human Service Worker 3 (HSW3) position available in the Crisis/Respite Services Program at Archway Station’s Oakland, Maryland location, Safe Harbor. Good communication and documentation skills are important for the position. This position includes full-time benefits following a successful probationary period. Benefits include 72 hours of accrued personal time per year, 7 paid holidays per year, paid vacation time, 401-k with up to 6% employer match, health insurance, including vision and dental add-ons, and short-term and long-term disability benefits, among other benefits.
Full-time HSW3 with Crisis/Respite at Safe Harbor (40 hours per week); grade 4b on the wage continuum (wage range is $21.50 at step 1 - $26.02 at step 12), plus any credentialing incentive: You must be able to work in high-pressure situations with up to 4 people in crisis and have the ability to de-escalate situations, when necessary, sometimes without immediate guidance from a supervisor. You will conduct intakes for people being referred to the Center. You will support people with appointments and help them seek and apply for needed resources within the typical 10-day timeframe while at Safe Harbor. You will assist with cooking dinner, providing med supports, and other supports as needed. The schedule is:
3PM to 11PM ( Tue, Wed, Thur, Frid, Sat ) or ( Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur )
Minimum requirements for the position include:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Driver’s license
· Dependable transportation
· Proof of valid auto insurance coverage
· CPR, AED, First Aid certification (will be provided if not already certified)
Other important information:
· Drug screening will be completed
· Criminal background check will be completed
· Driving record check will be completed
