AMarketing Specialist position is available at Garney. This full-time, salaried position offers competitive benefits and participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). We're seeking a motivated professional to join our growing Marketing Team and support high-impact strategic pursuits. The role focuses on coordinating proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), interview materials, and other client-facing deliverables, while collaborating with leadership and technical teams to create compelling, client-focused marketing content that supports pursuits and strengthens our brand.
- Lead development of qualifications and proposals
- Support the development of capture planning, presentations, or client debriefings
- Prepare and distribute marketing materials for potential clients
- Support Marketing Team with administrative duties
- Support Operations and Business Development with national trade organization events, initiatives, and administrative duties
- Facilitate pursuit kickoff meetings, content development, review cycles, and final submission preparation
- Create tailored project descriptions and staff resumes for use in pursuit materials
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or similar degree - Required
- Minimum of five years of experience in marketing professional services in the A/E/C industry - Required
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Required
- Exceptional communication skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ambitious, creative, and a team player
- Excellent judgment, and work accurately and efficiently with minimal guidance
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Active listener with a strong work ethic
- Meet deadlines and have an acute attention to detail
Some weekend and evening work may be required prior to critical deadlines. The selected candidate will work closely with the regional leadership group, in addition to supporting our national Marketing Team.
