ASafety Coordinator position is available at Garney. The Safety Coordinator supports the Safety Manager in administering project safety training, maintaining documentation, and assisting with jobsite inspections and compliance efforts.
- Support project and regional safety efforts
- Assist with safety training and maintain jobsite safety binders and documentation
- Conduct jobsite safety inspections
- Coordinate with field supervisors on equipment and PPE needs
- Ensure proper project and safety signage is in place
- Review safety results and company safety documents
- Lead toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture
- OSHA 30 certification required
- A degree in safety or a construction-related field is preferred
- Construction experience or knowledge preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable
- Effective communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam
- Willingness to work on a jobsite or in an office five days per week
- Willingness to travel for job site visits and specialized training
