About the role:
We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join our Growth team. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will partner across product, design, data, and engineering to build features end-to-end, lead projects, and elevate our user experiences. You’ll also own core backend services (signup, auth, integrations) and ensure secure, high-quality, reliable experiences in a fast-moving environment.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
- Design, build and launch new features and improve the overall quality of the Garner app
- Collaborate across disciplines to understand our users and iterate on new ideas
- Protect our users’ privacy and security through secure coding practices
- Support the Garner app in production
What you will bring to the team:
- 2 years hands-on work delivering full-stack software
- Expertise in TypeScript (preferred) or modern JavaScript
- Familiarity with React, NodeJS, Python, Docker, and a major cloud provider
- Experience with one or more database systems, especially PostgreSQL or ElasticSearch
- Experience working in a team using agile methodologies and fluency with the agile toolkit
- A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback

Compensation Transparency:
The target salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
