On-Call Snow Removal Crew Member
Gardner’s Landscaping, LLC is hiring dependable individuals for our 2026–2027 snow and ice management season.
This is an on-call, weather-dependent position from approximately November through March. Applicants must be available to work during snow and ice events, including overnights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Shovel and clear sidewalks, walkways, entrances, stairs, and other designated areas
- Operate snow blowers and other snow-removal equipment
- Apply ice melt/de-icing materials as directed
- Maintain safe, accessible conditions at commercial and residential properties
- Work efficiently as part of a snow-removal crew
- Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
Schedule:
- November through March, weather dependent
- On-call/as-needed based on snow and ice events
- Hours and start times vary by storm
- Must be able to report to work promptly when called
- Some storms may require extended shifts
What We’re Looking For:
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in cold and severe winter weather
- Able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to the designated meeting location
- Snow-removal experience preferred, but not required
- Experience operating snow blowers is a plus
Important: Snow operations depend heavily on attendance. Applicants should only apply if they can reliably commit to being available during winter weather events.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
