Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Bastrop, TX. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and other musculoskeletal conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to support rehabilitation and functional recovery. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, documenting progress, educating patients and families on home exercise programs, and coordinating care with other clinicians as needed. The role also involves implementing wellness and aquatic therapy programs, monitoring patient safety during all interventions, and actively contributing to a positive, respectful clinic environment. The Physical Therapist will participate in team meetings, maintain accurate and timely clinical records, and stay current with evidence-based practice to support high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Demonstrated skills in Patient Care and Home Care, including patient education, safety, and ongoing support for functional independence.
- Working knowledge of Medicine as it relates to musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and general rehabilitation conditions.
- Current Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program and active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Texas.
- Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings; board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or willingness to pursue is highly beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused, patient-centered environment.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, manage a varied caseload, and maintain professional, ethical standards of care.
