Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to ensure guest comfort.
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain a spotless environment.
- Handle trash removal and restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure efficient room turnover and guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and janitorial best practices.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly.
- Previous hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus; management experience in housekeeping is advantageous.
