Position Overview:
The Siding Laborer / Cut Guy supports the siding crew by handling material cuts, organization, and jobsite cleanup. This is an excellent position for someone who’s hardworking, dependable, and eager to grow in the trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut siding, trim, and soffit materials accurately according to specifications
- Assist installers with layout, prep, and installation tasks
- Keep materials organized and job sites clean and safe
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Follow directions from the lead installer or foreman
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude on site
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or exterior siding preferred, but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure and make precise cuts
- Comfortable using saws, snips, and other power tools
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must provide tool belt and hand tools
