Residential Crane Operator – Garner Construction
Location: Northern Utah
Job Type: Full-Time
Garner Construction is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Residential Crane Operator to join our growing team. We operate a residential crane for home building projects throughout Northern Utah and Southern Idaho and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a residential construction crane on job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and daily equipment inspections.
- Set roof trusses, framing materials, wall panels, beams, and other building materials.
- Work closely with builders, framers, and site supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance on every job site.
- Complete basic maintenance and report equipment issues.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience operating residential cranes is preferred.
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
- NCCCO crane certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety minded.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
