Garner Hotel in Missoula, Montana is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing hotel linens to ensure guests receive clean, fresh, and high-quality bedding and towels. This position plays a key role in maintaining the hotel’s cleanliness standards and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens including sheets, towels, pillowcases, and uniforms
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report items that need replacement
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the laundry room and storage areas
- Follow proper procedures for handling detergents and cleaning chemicals
- Deliver clean linens to housekeeping staff as needed
- Monitor laundry supply levels and report shortages to management
- Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist housekeeping team when necessary during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 pounds
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
Work Schedule
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Morning shift (9-2 PM most days)
