Head Housekeeper / Executive Housekeeper
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily housekeeping operations, maintain high cleanliness standards, train and supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure guests or residents receive exceptional service in a clean and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff and daily schedules.
- Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members.
- Manage housekeeping supplies, linens, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns.
- Coordinate with maintenance and management teams regarding repairs and facility needs.
- Monitor productivity and quality performance standards.
- Assist with cleaning duties as needed during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays if required.
