We are seeking a full-time Search Specialist in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with search engine optimization and paid search efforts across multiple digital platforms as well as being responsible for continuous campaign optimization, reporting and performance.
Essential Functions
- Manage and scale paid search and shopping campaigns that drive to Garmin.com and other online retailers
- Work with blog team on content strategy to improve organic performance
- Optimize performance of other Garmin owned web properties
- Utilize knowledge of Garmin’s expansive product line to target the right customers
- Optimize and develop strategies to increase ad effectiveness
- Maintain and manage specified budgets
- Understand business segment goals/objectives
- Identify trends within paid search accounts
- Track, report, and analyze analytics, initiatives and campaigns
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROAS in paid search campaigns
- Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and analyze competitive landscape
- Research keywords, site traffic and organic search trends
- Perform site audits
- Identify opportunities to grow organic presence
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Journalism or another related field AND a minimum of 1 year of Search Engine Marketing or Search Engine Optimization experience
- Must be detailed-oriented and can work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates knowledge of current SEM trends and best practices
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
- Demonstrates excellent time management and follow-up skills with proven success in meeting deadlines
- Demonstrates mathematical aptitude to ensure accuracy of accounting documents and media schedules
- Demonstrates proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint and Excel
