We are seeking a full-time EDI Support Analyst 2 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Garmin EDI group by troubleshooting Data, Mapping issues in the EDI processes and maintaining IBM Sterling Integrator.
Essential Functions
- Use Sterling Integration Suite (SI) to design, develop, customize, integrate, test, implement, administer and support the complete GIS B2B suite to meet the rapidly growing company need
- Providing EDI support which includes troubleshooting data issues, mapping, and business processes to find the root causes of errors then correcting, testing, and maintaining EDI maps and EDI processes related to Oracle eBusiness Suite
- Check inbound and outbound flow of different EDI transaction between Garmin and Partners
- Confirm important processes are completing in a timely manner and communicate the issues with internal or external groups
- Monitor emails for errors, create tickets and triage support tickets
- Write or update program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides
- Identify, recommend and implement process improvements in support of the EDI system.
- Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to understand support issues. Provide technical support, troubleshooting for issue resolution
- Manage critical issues and prioritize accordingly
- Understand business impacts of issues as they relate to IT owned solutions
- Seek out for opportunities for making improvements
- Develop reliable solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Excellent academics with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in EDI Support
- Demonstrated experience in IBM Sterling Integrator Support and Administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency and familiarity with communication protocols such as SFTP and AS2
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
- Experience with EDI in an Oracle eBusiness Suite or similar ERP environment
- Basic understanding of Java, PL/SQL
- Basic understanding of VDA Standards for AOEM Industry
