Sr. Data Center Construction Manager

As a Sr. Data Center Construction Manager role will be to lead large‑scale, complex projects and oversee all onsite construction execution—from planning through commissioning and closeout. This role requires strong field leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage large technician teams in fast‑paced data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce an Accident‑Free Everyday safety culture.

• Oversee daily field operations, installation strategies, and site logistics.

• Maintain 5‑week lookahead schedules, labor plans, and progress tracking.

• Ensure compliance with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS, and customer standards.

• Lead testing/commissioning (OTDR, power meter, labeling, QA).

• Identify design gaps and drive RFIs and scope adjustments.

• Manage and develop large field teams (100 ), union or non‑union.

• Serve as the primary onsite liaison for the customer.

Requirements

• 3–5 years supervisory experience in structured cabling or data center construction.

• Experience managing large field teams.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety practices.

• Expertise in low‑voltage, fiber, and structured cabling installations.

• Ability to read drawings, specs, and construction schedules.

• Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and construction platforms.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred: Data center new build/retrofit experience, union labor experience, OSHA 30, BICSI TECH, BICSI RCDD.
