Salary: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year (Base Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, sills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

GENERAL NATURE OF JOB:

Provide strategic leadership for the business by leveraging our distinct capabilities to develop and commercialize market-driven solutions. Focus on the market by spending time understanding problems and the competitive landscape to build a product portfolio and road map for profitable growth.  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Commercial Pipeline Management – Leads commercialization efforts for new products and programs that are valued by customers.  Develops go-to-market strategies, identifies areas of weakness as well as gaps needed to support the launch of new products. Creates and maintains product road maps and proactively manages the product lifecycle.

Key metrics include the Total Estimated Opportunity Value of the Commercial Pipeline and New Product Sales.

  1. Strategic Campaign Development - Develops strategies around the promotion of our existing portfolio of differentiated products to applicable markets through Commercial Campaign development. Works closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand the key personas, market problems and the value of our products.  Collaborates with Marketing to develop sales and customer facing collateral – Sales presentations, webinar content, literature, digital tools, and ROI tools.

Key metrics include Sales of Differentiated products.

  1. Business Management - Analyzes and develops appropriate value propositions, pricing strategies, and programs to assure maximized profitability, while optimizing business with market dynamics. 

Key metrics for success include Price Variance and Standard Margins.

  1. Product Team Leadership – Provides vision, strategy, and leadership for product teams. Develops a collaborative environment between Engineering, Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, Operations, and other key stakeholders. Works effectively with others to identify and resolve issues.

 

JOB QUALIFICATION:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Marketing, or equivalent experience. 
  2. 3-5 years business experience within product management, sales, marketing, or engineering.  
  3. Industry, customer, competitor, and product knowledge.
  4. Ability to build, develop, and engage teams directly and indirectly. 
  5. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead globally in and outside a matrix environment.
  6. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills to understand how to influence the profitability of business units.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.

REPORTS TO: Director of Engineering and Product Management

           

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light to Medium Work: Spending extended periods in a stationary position, both sitting and standing. Physical demands may include stooping, kneeling, touching, feeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, positioning self to utilize equipment properly, and lifting and/or transporting items up to 35 pounds.
