Description
The General Labor positions can be in the packing, sewing, cutting, or shipping departments.
- Packing – Roll or fold rugs, label with designated label and put in boxes.
- Picking- Pull rugs from warehouse locations, place in carts, and assemble the rugs with the rest of the order for shipping.
- Sewing – Stacking completed rugs in buggies. The rugs are moved from buggies to air table for sewer’s access then back to buggies once completed.
- Cutting – Stacking completed rugs in buggies. The rugs are moved from cutting tables to buggies once the cutting process is completed.
- Shipping – Handling rugs from bins, buggies or pallets to loading them in trailers. LTO personnel handles pallet loading.
- Garland Main – Rugs are stacked from buggies into the trailer in orderly manner as assigned by supervisor.
- Dot Com – Rugs are pulled from bins to buggies then move to the trailer for loading.
- Brown Building – Rugs are loaded in trailer by hand.
General labor also includes any other tasks assigned by plant management.
