The DSD Manager will lead the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operation in the Northeast, ensuring efficient route execution, strong coordination with Production and Sales, and high service levels in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily DSD routes to ensure on-time, accurate, and high-quality deliveries.
- Lead and manage drivers, including scheduling, performance, and coaching.
- Drive route efficiency while optimizing operational costs (labor, fuel, and product loss).
- Manage route inventory, returns, and delivery reconciliation to ensure accuracy and control.
- Coordinate with Production and Warehouse to align product availability with delivery needs.
- Track and analyze KPIs (delivery performance, accuracy, productivity) and implement improvements.
- Generate reports and provide operational visibility to leadership.
- Manage order processing, inventory transfers, and reporting through company systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company policies.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by proactively addressing delivery issues and maintaining strong service standards.
Qualifications
- 5 years in DSD, distribution, or food logistics.
- Experience managing field teams (drivers/routes).
- Strong operational and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
