What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture and delivery associate position at Gardner-White Furniture?
Gardner-White of Gaylord is currently looking to add full time experienced Warehouse and Delivery Associates to our team.
This position will be a mix of warehouse duties and Deliveries. Warehouse duties include but are not limited to: assembling furniture, customer pick ups, moving furniture inside the store, setting up room groups from the direction of the visual display person, keeping property clean and maintenance duties.
Non CDL Delivery will include driving a 26 foot box truck (due to weight/size you will need Chauffeurs and Med cart.)
Saturdays are required and your shifts will be 8 to 10 hours. We try to keep overtime to a minimum but the possibility is there. Warehouse is open Monday-Saturday from 10-6 Delivery crews start the day at 8am.
After 90 days you qualify for paid vacation and sick time as well as medical/dental/vision insurance $50 dollars for self and additional rates for family can be provided, family coverage is at your expense.
We are looking for an experienced self-starter with a great attendance record. Heavy lifting, bending twisting, and squatting is needed. Must have dependable transportation to and from work no exceptions.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
License/Certification:
