Electronics Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to join our team on an initial three-month contract assignment. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting, building, testing, and repairing electronic assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. For the right individual, this opportunity has the potential to become a full-time position.
What You'll Do
- Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuit boards, controllers, and assemblies
- Perform functional testing and validation of electronic products
- Build and inspect wiring harnesses and cable assemblies
- Solder and rework through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components
- Diagnose electronic failures using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation
- Support engineering with product development, testing, and qualification activities
- Perform environmental testing, including temperature and vibration testing
- Maintain accurate manufacturing, testing, and quality documentation
- Follow established quality standards, work instructions, and production procedures
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Extensive experience as an Electronics Technician in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong troubleshooting and electronic repair skills
- Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Comfortable using common electronic test equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and rework (SMT experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
