Our client is seeking an experienced data analyst to support our Digital Transformation program under the Workday Data workstream.
This is engagement is focused on data analysis, cleansing, profiling, and definition work.
We are looking for someone with a blend of hands-on data skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across IT, Data, and Business teams.
Location: Boston area - ability to get to the Boston office when needed.
Keys to this role:
- Perform data analysis, cleansing, and mapping across source systems to support rationalization and data cleansing efforts
- Conduct data quality analysis on transactional and master data to identify critical data improvement opportunities
- Facilitate working sessions with business and technical stakeholders to inform data analysis work
- Support content creation for data governance documentation and working group meetings
- Propose and apply approved AI tools and methodologies to accelerate data conversion and analysis efforts
Must Haves:
- Strong business analysis and data analysis capabilities
- Demonstrated experience with data quality, cleansing, mapping, and governance processes
- Advanced SQL skills
- Proficiency with Google Big Query and Looker preferred
- Comfortable working with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, and/or Claude) to perform traditional data analysis responsibilities
- Comfort operating in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong Nice to Haves:
- Prior experience with Workday Finance and HCM modules
- Experience working with financial data; chart of accounts, trial balances, and p&l data preferred
