Position Summary:
The Insurance Inspection Case Review and Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for reviewing property inspection reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to underwriting guidelines. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality and integrity of inspection data used in underwriting decisions. The specialist will assess inspection results, identify discrepancies, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Review incoming property inspection reports for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards and underwriting guidelines.
- Validate that all required photographs, measurements, and documentation are included and meet quality standards.
- Identify inconsistencies or errors in inspection data and coordinate with inspectors or vendors for clarification or correction.
- Maintain detailed documentation of review findings and corrective actions.
- Provide feedback and training support to field inspectors to promote quality improvements.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to interpret inspection photos, diagrams, and reports.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools and managing workloads independently (especially in remote or hybrid roles).
- Understanding of construction, roofing, and utility types .
- Prior experience in a quality assurance role within an insurance company or inspection vendor environment preferred, related experience considered.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
