We are looking for amazing people to build this team and work with our seniors. The House Manager will be on the floor with our residents. You will be trained through a 5 day immersive training program followed by a 90 day comprehensive support system till you are confident and comfortable!

You will learn the Gardens Care way and must show dedication and initiative to learn and operate a home. This is an entry level position to the pathway of becoming and Administrator for Gardens Care.
What does your day to day look like? An house manager at our locations are responsible for hands on care including ADL's, activities, housekeeping, med passing as well as administrative task such as weekly food ordering, MAR audits and staff coaching. The assistant manager is required to be flexible and on call atleast 3 days a week and alotted 1 day for administrative tasks.

Weekly menu and recipes
- Plan, print, post
- Weekly food and supplies inventory
- Weekly grocery list
- Monthly activity calendar and decorations
- Plan calendar, print, post
- Decorate activity board with monthly theme
- Monitor activities & coach staff
- Ensure scheduled activities are done as well as individual activities
- Daily documentation and incident report monitoring and enforcing
- Check for accuracy and holes
- Correct staff as needed
- Discipline staff if habitual
- Weekly MAR documentation auditing
- Check for accuracy
- Correct staff
- Discipline staff if habitual
- Daily resident care monitoring
- Ensure residents are being groomed daily
- Ensure residents have proper clothing and footwear
- Ensure residents have all needed personal supplies on hand
- Ensure residents are receiving person centered care
- Monitor kitchen regulations and enforce
- Monitor home cleanliness and neatness
- Do a home walkthrough daily, including front and back grounds. Also check for repairs needed.
- Ensure staff are following shift tasks on each shift
- Ensure staff are putting things in proper places
- Monthly environmental survey
- Schedule and follow up on fire drills
- Monthly resident census
- Weekly staff time adjustments and time approvals
- Check for time correction sheets, correct in ADP
- Check and approve time
- Continuous staff training & coaching
- On call on house manager’s days off for all needs of staff and home
- Staff questions in person and through text/calls
- Communication with POAs, family, medical providers
- Med ordering as needed
- Med order approvals as needed
- Communication with Gary as needed
- Cover shifts as needed
- Staff conflict
- Relay important communication in the home GroupMe
- Cover shifts as needed on normal days off and work shifts other than normal schedule as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
