Duties
- Provide daily care and feeding for animals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and treatment areas using aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
- Handling dogs and cats with compassion and professionalism.
- Contribute to animal physiology assessments by observing behavior and physical condition.
Qualifications
- Previous kennel experience or animal care background preferred; experience working with animals in a veterinary or shelter setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques, restraint methods, and pet care best practices.
- Veterinary or shelter technician experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude towards animal welfare.
