Duties
- Prospect and generate new business through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and networking
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess insurance needs across health, life, property, casualty, and commercial lines
- Present tailored insurance solutions, clearly explaining policy features, benefits, and coverage options
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and building strong client relationships
- Stay current on insurance regulations, product updates, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and expert advice
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on client engagement
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred
- Knowledge of insurance products including health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance policies
- Familiarity with sales administration tasks and CRM system proficiency
- Analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable coverage options
- Understanding of insurance regulation standards such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) for health-related policies
- Customer relationship building expertise combined with outstanding customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
