We are seeking a friendly, highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team at our Clifton Park location. If you enjoy working with customers, learning high-quality product lines, and helping people transform their outdoor living spaces, this position is a great fit.
Position Summary
In this role, you will assist retail customers in selecting and customizing premier outdoor living products. Your product focus will cover our core structures and outdoor furniture line.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide retail customers through our product offerings to match their budget, space, and style needs.
- Provide detailed product specs, custom feature options, and pricing estimates.
- Process sales orders accurately and coordinate delivery schedules with our logistics team.
- Maintain an attractive, organized outdoor display yard.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and leads in a timely manner.
Product Focus
- Storage Sheds & Garages: Custom and pre-built structures.
- Gazebos, Poolhouses, Pergolas, & Pavilions: Custom outdoor shading solutions.
- Playhouses & Swing Sets: Residential play equipment and accessories.
- Poly Outdoor Furniture: Patio sets, Adirondack chairs, benches, and accessories.
Qualifications
- 3 years of sales or retail customer service experience preferred (outdoor living, furniture, or home improvement experience is a plus).
- Some construction knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to learn detailed product lines, measurements, and customization options.
- Basic computer literacy for processing orders and managing quotes.
- Comfort working both indoors in the sales office and outdoors in the product display yard.
- Flexibility to work weekend hours.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and a good work ethic.
Position Details & Benefits
- Type: Full-Time or Part-Time options available.
- Compensation: $55,000-$60,000 per year based on experience
- Schedule: 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday
