Garden State Spinal Care is seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing chiropractic practice on a full-time basis. We are a collaborative, patient-focused team dedicated to modern treatment methods, with a special emphasis on women’s and children’s health.
This position is ideal for a dependable professional who takes pride in creating a welcoming environment while keeping the front office running smoothly and efficiently. The right candidate will be organized, approachable, and confident in handling a variety of administrative and patient-facing responsibilities with professionalism and poise.
Position Overview
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will set the tone for their experience. This role requires strong interpersonal abilities, polished phone presence, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
- Manage incoming calls, patient inquiries, callbacks, and follow-ups with clarity and courtesy
- Coordinate scheduling and communicate changes promptly and accurately with staff
- Verify insurance coverage and discuss benefits including deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, out-of-pocket costs, and cash plans
- Process payments, maintain accurate patient accounts, and issue receipts
- Monitor and respond to the practice email inbox in a timely manner
- Prepare, organize, and print documentation for the provider
- Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas and common spaces in accordance with office protocols
- Support daily operational needs such as supply management, light administrative errands, and general office organization
- Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while working independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical reception or a related customer-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable discussing insurance information and completing verification processes
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Chrome, Outlook, Gmail, and Square
- Experience with DrChrono EMR/EHR or similar systems preferred
- Professional presentation and a respectful, service-oriented approach
