Financial Aid Advisor (FAA)
GENERAL DUTIES: The FAA will adhere to the federal and state regulations and the institution’s policies and procedures for all financial aid programs, process student funding and ensure excellent student service.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
A successful FAA will maintain an organized work schedule to assure the job requirements are executed in a timely manner. These include but are not limited to the following items.
- FASFA Workshop through Google Meet, Zoom, or In Person for new applicants and continuing students
- Conducting financial aid estimates to students and parents.
- School applicant's FAFSAs are processed.
- Clear and accurate information is provided to school applicants.
- Applicants are notified of their financial aid eligibility.
- All students utilizing Title IV funds receive entrance and exit counseling.
- Title IV funds are received and credited to student accounts.
- All Title IV transactions are closely monitored.
- Student academic progress is monitored for all financial aid students.
- Correspond with students to inform them of any issues relating to their Title IV eligibility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
