About the Role
The Field Sampler Technician reports to the Waretown Laboratory in Ocean County New Jersey.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license as well as a clean driving record in order to drive to and from sampling locations using a company car.
The starting rate of pay is $17.00 per hour for a 30-hour workweek; Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Field Sampler Technician is the performance of water tests and sample collections at assigned locations.
Testing and sample collection may include municipal wells, city water, private homes, public locations, sewer and water plants, wastewater, and pools.
Employees may also set up sample composite machines for next day sample pickup.
Employees are trained in proper and compliant collection techniques as well as transport protocols to a certified laboratory.
Requirements
No prior experience is required, but interested candidates should have experience in role(s) that required detailed procedures, good communication skills with clients, outdoor work, as well as daily deadlines.
