What You'll Do
Complies with established policies and procedures and maintains established standards and practices including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct.
Follows Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
Presents a pleasant and cheerful attitude with stable temperament.
Multi-tasks well in a fast-paced environment.
Comes to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
Attends all in-services, training sessions, and meetings relevant to the position.
Treats all information about clients, their condition, and provided services as confidential.
Receives incoming calls, determines the nature of the call, and transfers the call when appropriate.
Develops creative ways to look at the homecare and transportation schedule to ensure that all clients are receiving requested services in the most efficient and consistent way possible.
Assists with the assignment and scheduling of At Home staff including handling caregiver call-offs, absences, and vacations to ensure that clients’ needs are upheld.
Maintains good communication with clients and family members regarding schedules, changes of condition, care plan updates, and general inquiries.
Provides excellent customer service in handing incoming inquiries, providing detailed overview of services, and schedules assessments with Director and/or Coordinator.
Effectively communicates changes in schedule with caregivers, clients, staff members, and family members as applicable.
Assists in maintaining accurate client and caregiver records including initial profile creation and continuous updates.
Schedules transportation to include communication with drivers, clients, family, and other members of the interdisciplinary team regarding the transport details.
Shares on-call duty.
Demonstrates forward thinking with strategic planning and producing innovative ideas to grow and develop the At Home department.
Conducts interviews with incoming applicants, request references, and conducts department orientation for incoming employees.
Performs other duties and responsibilities such as caregiving as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Verbal and written communication skills including telephone answering.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Computer proficiency required.
Ability to prioritize multiple duties and responsibilities.
Caregiving Capabilities Required.
Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Additional Information
This position is part-time 9:00am-1:00pm Monday-Friday with on call requirement every other week.
