Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their laundry needs, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Operate and maintain laundry machines, including washers and dryers, following safety and operational procedures
- Keep the laundromat clean and organized, including folding clothes, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering skills; process payments efficiently
- Monitor equipment performance, report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks diligently and efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is a plus but not mandatory
- Good communication skills to assist customers effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting laundry loads
