What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Garden OBGYN?
We are a large and growing medical practice seeking experienced receptionists. We pride ourselves on excellent patient care and service. We are seeking candidates who have exceptional customer service skills to greet, schedule and assist our patients. This position could grow into a management opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Greeting patients over the phone
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Managing the panels to ensure proper appointments are created
- Confirming/rescheduling appointments
- Completing insurance authorization and eligibility if needed
- Assisting patients with any questions they may have
Qualifications
- Medical experience is a plus
- Positive attitude
- Excellent computer skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Candidate must be able to take initiative
- Must be available to work a combination of day shifts and night shifts
- Must be able to work occasional weekends if needed
