Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and analysis in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Manage all aspects of accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow analysis.
- Lead risk analysis initiatives to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for governmental agencies and other stakeholders.
- Supervise treasury management activities such as investment management, liquidity planning, and cost control measures.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial concepts such as profit & loss management, revenue recognition, and cost management to support organizational growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles with a strong background in corporate finance and accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory frameworks relevant to accounting environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, fiscal management, and financial analysis with a focus on strategic planning.
- Proficiency in financial software systems and technical accounting tools for accurate report writing and interpretation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes.
