Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and environmental services guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning
- Restock supplies such as paper products, hand sanitizers, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability
- Follow established janitorial procedures to uphold hygiene standards in healthcare or hospital settings when applicable
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance issues requiring escalation
- Adhere to safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; experience in healthcare or hospital environments is a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to cleaning and environmental services
- Demonstrated ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Familiarity with various cleaning equipment and floor care techniques required for commercial cleaning environments
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
