What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Grinder and Production Assistant position at Garden Deva Sculpture Company?
Garden Deva Sculpture Company is a local Tulsa shop that creates artful metal sculptures for the home and garden. We create all of our products from start to finish in our facility. This Shop Grinder position includes approximately 18 hours per week of grinding Garden Deva's stock inventory and assisting with other shop tasks.
Position Duties Include:
- Grinding and cleaning metal sculptures
- Shop cleaning
- Assisting the Production Manager in miscellaneous tasks
- Adhere to safety measures and precautions
- Ability to weld is a plus

Experience with grinding is required. Experience with welding is a plus. PPE and all necessary equipment will be provided.
Shifts will be Tuesday-Thursday from 9am-3pm, with some flexibility. Each 5 hour shift has an optional 30 minute to 1 hour unpaid lunch break during the workday. Shifts may vary based on workload and availability. Additional shifts may be offered seasonally or on an as-needed basis. Must be available for special events and sales at Garden Deva (i.e. seasonal events, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, etc).
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
