**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Dietary Tray Setter to join our dietary services team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling meals on trays in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our patients/residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assemble and set trays with the appropriate food items based on dietary guidelines, menu specifications, and individual dietary needs.
- Ensure that meals are visually appealing and meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Verify and organize special dietary requests, allergies, and modifications per patient/resident instructions.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing, portions, and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meal preparation area, including dishware, utensils, and food storage.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a healthy dining environment.
- Communicate effectively with dietary staff, nurses, and healthcare personnel regarding dietary requirements and preferences of residents/patients.
- Participate in training sessions and adhere to all policies and procedures related to dietary services.

**Qualifications:**.
- Basic understanding of nutrition and dietary restrictions (e.g., diabetic, gluten-free, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment..
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move food trays and supplies as needed.

**Work Environment:**
This position operates in a kitchen and dining environment, requiring adherence to food safety regulations and standards. Occasional exposure to hot surfaces, sharp utensils, and a loud environment should be anticipated.
