Position Summary
As a Team Member (Bagel Bouncer), you are an essential part of the guest experience. You'll greet customers, take orders, prepare and hand off products, and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment. This role works closely with both front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure every guest receives friendly service and fresh products with speed and accuracy.
At PopUp Bagels, team members are cross-trained across multiple stations, providing opportunities to learn different aspects of the business while supporting overall shop operations.
What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional hospitality by welcoming and engaging with guests
- Accurately take customer orders and process transactions through the POS system
- Prepare, package, and hand off bagels, spreads, beverages, and other menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout guest-facing and service areas
- Communicate menu offerings, ingredients, and promotions to guests
- Ensure orders are accurate and presented according to company standards
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain smooth and efficient operations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures
- Assist with stocking, cleaning, opening, and closing responsibilities
- Support multiple stations through cross-training and teamwork
What We're Looking For

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service is a plus, but not required
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods during scheduled shifts
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment
