Over the years, they’ve amassed a large following. They’ve also amassed a range of products they recommend to maintain and grow gardens. In 2024, they began making these products available through their online store for anyone to purchase.
The Warehouse Manager will be working for the Garden Answer Online Store. You’ll work with a small team to ensure customers of the store have the best experience possible. You’ll also have the opportunity to improve our workflow. Since the store is only three years old, you can help us solve our growing pains!

Job Description
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of order fulfillment and inventory management. Your team will need to fulfill orders from recent sales, prepare products before they can be sold, and organize incoming deliveries.
Your objective will be to forecast demand, schedule employees, ensure that the team runs as efficiently as possible throughout the week. You’ll work closely with the warehouse team while also completing your managerial responsibilities.
The Warehouse Manager will also regularly interact with other departments (like Bookkeeping, Customer Service, and Marketing) to share and receive information that affects order fulfillments & inventory.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage the warehouse staff:
- Delegating daily responsibilities.
- Hiring & scheduling.
Ensure daily tasks are completed:
- Fulfilling customer orders.
- Receiving warehouse deliveries.
- Organizing & preparing products.
Enforce Safety Policies.
Communicate with vendors:
- Tracking expected delivery dates.
- Logging delivery issues.
Work with upper management:
- Monitoring and Reporting Key Performance Indicators.
Work with other departments:
- Bookkeeping, for vendor communication.
- Customer Service, for order issues and changes to fulfillment protocols.
- Marketing, to understand future product and order demand.
Job Type
Full-Time, In-person.
Regular Schedule:
- 7-4pm, Monday-Friday, with an hour lunch break.
- Work weekends surrounding Black Friday.
Occasionally work outside of regular hours for unusual deliveries or shipments.
Physically Active:
- Expect to walk and stand throughout the day.
- Regularly lift 20-50 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $45-70K a year:
- Paid hourly
- Pay based on qualifications and final assigned responsibilities.
2% IRA match.
Two Weeks Paid-Time-Off.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4 years of full-time work experience.
- 2 years of supervising or managerial experience.
- Forklift Certification.
- Experience working in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing industry.
- Experience working in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems or similar software.
- Strong skills in leading, multi-tasking, strategic planning, and problem-solving.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
