Overview
Join our team as a Kitchen Helper/Cook. In this role, you will prepare grab n go items as well as prep and serve food as it is ordered from menu items. Willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Food preparation, basic cooking, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Handle food safely by adhering to food handling protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and preventing cross-contamination.
- Serve meals efficiently and courteously to customers or guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations.
- Taking orders and using register when needed
Experience
- Kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices a plus
- A background in catering or food service operations is also a plus
Pay: $18.50 per hour
