Job Duties:
- Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes while maintaining speed and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, stovetops, slicers, and knives.
- Maintain a sanitary, stocked, organized kitchen in compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper portioning throughout service.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth and timely service flow.
- Assist with prep work, restocking, and closing duties as needed.
- Properly label, date, and store food using FIFO practices.
- Alert kitchen management to equipment issues, inventory, or quality concerns.
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age
- 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- Availability to work onsite during normal operating hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and be on your feet, moving, bending, twisting, and hustling for most of your shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
- Manual dexterity to handle knives and kitchen equipment safely.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, steam, and temperature changes.
- Ability to concentrate, communicate, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-noise environment.
