Part-Time Delivery Driver
Garber Metrology is seeking a dependable Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team in Lititz, PA.
This position is ideal for a retiree or someone looking for flexible, supplemental income. You'll deliver and pick up precision measurement equipment from our customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic while representing our company with professionalism and outstanding customer service.
Schedule
- Part-time: Typically 6–20 hours per week
- Hours vary based on customer demand and vacation coverage.
- Immediate opportunity: Approximately 20 hours per week for the first 4–6 weeks while covering an extended driver absence, then returning to our normal shared driver schedule.
- Flexible schedule coordinated with our team.
What You'll Do
- Deliver and pick up precision measurement equipment at customer locations.
- Travel throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New York, and Virginia.
- Safely load, transport, and secure customer equipment.
- Plan efficient delivery routes.
- Assist with receiving and shipping duties.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be insurable under the company's commercial auto insurance policy.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Dependable, organized, and customer-focused.
- Comfortable using a computer for basic data entry and mapping.
- Able to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
