Responsibilities:
- Operate a rear-load vehicle to safely collect municipal refuse from residential and commercial customers along designated routes
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of your truck and work areas
- Deliver courteous and efficient service while interacting with the public
- Direct the truck driver with backups and navigating tight spaces
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance as needed
- Participate in training programs to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Driver's license preferred
- A motor vehicle record (MVR) that has no violations, accidents, or convictions for at least the past five years
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 25 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Ability to repeatedly bend, twist, lift, throw, push, pull and exert physical effort in handling objects more than 75 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Capable motor coordination; arm, hand, legs.
- Commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork
