What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential / Commercial Garage Door Installer position at Garage Works?
Looking for a responsible person willing to learn How to Install and repair garage doors Along with garage door openers , gargae flooring , slat wall and organizing storage sytems.
Pay will be determined by your experience.
Part time would be for certain days of the week , NOT certain hours in the day.
I am willing to train.
****We also install , repair and service garage door openers so problem solving is a must !!! Some construction background would be helpful BUT NOT necessary.********
MUST pass a criminal background check and have a valid drivers license in good standing. You will need to be able to be added to our auto insurance .
Besides driving to a job in the area you might be asked to drive to pick up product.
We start at 8AM . You MUST have the ability to get to the shop and home at the end of the day ! There is no set time to stop work . There will be times you will finish earlier in the day and times you might be out until later in the evening .
Must be able to lift heavy garage door sections (some are 70 lbs.) and be able to work off ladders . Sometimes 20 feet high.
This is not just a job , but the things you learn are skills you can use later .

- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Understanding of construction sites
- Carpentry skills including drywall, caulking, and trim carpentry
- Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
