Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleaning of work areas to ensure safe and efficient installation processes
- Support the installation of garage flooring materials such as epoxy coatings, tiles, or concrete overlays following schematics and blueprints
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install flooring components with precision
- Help with surface preparation including grinding, sealing, caulking, and water damage restoration tasks
- Aid in measuring spaces accurately using tape measures and schematics to ensure proper fitment of flooring materials
- Collaborate with team members on fixture installation, trim carpentry, cabinet setup, and other remodeling tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety protocols throughout each project
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or flooring installation is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and floor care techniques is a plus
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete finishing, buffing equipment or remodeling projects will enhance your effectiveness in this role
- Knowledge of the restoration industry or water damage restoration processes is beneficial but not required
- Previous work on construction sites involving tile laying, caulking, fixture installation or carpentry will support your success here
