We are looking for an experienced Garage Door Sales Technician to join our growing garage door company. This position is for someone who has both technical knowledge in garage door repair/installations and strong sales skills. The technician will meet customers on-site, diagnose garage door issues, explain repair or replacement options and close jobs professionally.
Responsibilities: Diagnose garage door issues including springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers, panels, and full door systems. Provide customers with clear repair or replacement options. Sell garage door repairs, opener installations, spring replacements, door replacements, and related services. Prepare accurate estimates and invoices. Perform repairs and installations when needed. Maintain a professional appearance and excellent customer service. Communicate with dispatch and management throughout the day. Arrive on time to scheduled appointments and manage jobs efficiently. Follow company pricing, service standards, and sales process.
Requirements: Previous experience in garage door repair and installation is required. Strong sales experience is required. Must know how to diagnose garage door problems correctly. Must be comfortable selling on-site and closing deals. Ability to explain technical issues to customers in a simple and professional way. Valid driver’s license. Reliable, responsible, and motivated. Must be able to work independently in the field. Good communication skills. Experience with residential garage doors, torsion springs, openers, cables, tracks, rollers, and door replacement is required.
Compensation: Commission-based pay / competitive pay based on experience and performance. High earning potential for the right technician. Company provides leads and scheduled appointments.
Schedule: Full-time position. Must be available to work in the field and respond to scheduled service calls.
