Position Objective: Provide services as a Human Capital Program Support Specialist III in support of the overall functions of NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, TX. NASA is seeking an individual to provide onboarding coordination and administrative support services to enhance workforce integration, improve employee experience during the first year of employment, and support Human Resources (HR) program operations across multiple functional areas across NASA Centers with the primary focus at Johnson Space Center.

- Onboarding Coordination - The contractor shall provide onboarding coordination services for new employees to ensure smooth transition into the organization. Responsibilities include:

- Establishing and tracking onboarding milestones during the employee’s first year of service.
- Maintaining onboarding schedules, resources, and communication materials.
- Serving as a point of contact for new employees during the onboarding period to address
- questions and facilitate issue resolution.
- Tracking onboarding completion metrics and providing status updates to HR leadership.
- Identifying opportunities to improve onboarding processes and employee experience.
- HR Program Coordination Support - The contractor shall provide coordination and operational support across multiple HR functional areas to improve program efficiency and execution. Support may include:
- Awards Programs: Coordinating administrative processes related to employee recognition and awards programs.
- Training and Development: Supporting the planning, scheduling, and tracking of training and professional development activities.
- HR Consulting Services: Assisting HR specialists and HR Business Partners with coordination of workforce initiatives and program support activities.
- HR Operations: Providing administrative coordination, tracking, documentation support, and process facilitation for HR operations.
- Process Efficiency and Issue Resolution - The contractor shall support process improvements and operational coordination across HR services. Responsibilities include:
- Identifying workflow inefficiencies and recommending process improvements.
