Role Description

🚧 Gantt’s Excavating Contracting is looking for a Safety & Compliance Manager to help lead and strengthen our safety culture across the company. This position will oversee:

✅ OSHA and jobsite safety compliance

✅ DOT and fleet compliance

✅ Toolbox talks and safety training

✅ Incident reporting and follow-up

✅ Safety documentation and recordkeeping

✅ General risk prevention and regulatory support

Qualifications

Experience is strongly preferred, especially in construction, excavation, trucking, DOT, or heavy equipment environments. With that said, we are also open to training the right person who has:

🔨 Strong leadership skills

🔨 Excellent organization and follow-through

🔨 Ability to communicate well with field crews

🔨 Genuine passion for keeping people safe

🔨 Willingness to learn compliance, regulations, and reporting requirements
