Business Development Executive (Southern U.S.)

Compensation Structure: Base Salary Growth-Based Bonus Delivery-Based Commission

  • Base Salary: $72,000 
  • Commission: Highly competitive as this is a growth based role, based on margin on delivery and performance/quota achievement
  • Bonus: Per new logo that achieves ≥ $75,000 in annual spend

As we expand our U.S. presence and grow our digital experience business unit, we are seeking a growth-minded Business Development Executive to drive new client acquisition in strategic markets.


The key technology portfolio and business functions we caters to that you will represent include:

  • CMS Technologies: Drupal, Contentful, Contentstack, Sanity.io, Umbraco, etc.
  • DXP Platforms: Acquia, Sitecore, AEM, Optimizely
  • Commerce Applications: Shopify Enterprise, BigCommerce, Commercetools, Optimizely Commerce
  • Lateral CX Applications & Concepts: Google Analytics, SEO, UI/UX, Content Strategy, Web Hosting, Customer Experience & Conversion Strategies
  • Business Functions: MarTech, Digital Experience, Content & Information Management, Commerce, Customer Experience
  • Application Lifecycle: Focused on Managed Services and Conversion Rate Optimization, extending from Strategy and Discovery to Implementation and Maintenance


Role Summary 

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive with at least 3 years of experience in Digital Experience, MarTech, or Customer Experience consulting sales.

This role focuses on net new client acquisition, collaborating with delivery leadership and globally distributed technical teams from prospecting to deal closure. 

You will serve as a frontline representative of growing brand, identifying prospects, engaging decision-makers, nurturing relationships with budget holders, and converting leads into new accounts. You will work directly with the leadership team to achieve your goals. Success is measured by quota attainment, delivery margin contribution, and logo acquisition.


Key Responsibilities

Net New Client Acquisition

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure
  • Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified leads in the digital/CX/MarTech space
  • Conduct discovery sessions with client stakeholders (Marketing, IT, Digital, Commerce)
  • Craft compelling proposals aligned to client pain points, our capabilities, and delivery models

Quota & Commission Performance

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota targets
  • Earn commission based on delivery margin and performance-to-quota metrics
  • Receive bonuses for each new logo contributing $75,000 in annual spend

Solution & Delivery Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with global solution architects and delivery teams
  • Coordinate handoffs and maintain high client satisfaction during onboarding
  • Communicate technical scope and high-level requirements clearly to delivery teams

Market Engagement & Brand Growth

  • Represent the organization at conferences, events, and targeted account meetings
  • Use outreach tools, LinkedIn, and warm relationships to build trust with prospects
  • Leverage our productized assets and service frameworks in the sales process


Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within Digital Experience, Customer Experience, MarTech, or related services
  • Proven ability to acquire net new logos and close high-value consulting or services deals
  • Familiarity with technical solutioning concepts (CMS, commerce, cloud, data, analytics)
  • Demonstrated success working with global delivery teams
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Self-starter mindset with high accountability and comfort working in fast-growth environments


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in lead generation and pipeline management (e.g., using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot)
  • Track record of quota attainment and revenue growth in services sales
  • Knowledge of MarTech ecosystems and client pain points in regulated industries (e.g., CPG, Manufacturing)
  • Ability to articulate value propositions for managed services and AI-enabled solutions
  • Proficiency in sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, or ZoomInfo)
